An Interdisciplinary Studies degree program is a flexible degree option to allow students to combine MWSU academic programs of study into a customizable plan to fit individualized educational and career goals. Students will design a plan of study under the guidance of an academic advisor and from the recommendation of departments and programs. Interdisciplinary Studies degrees include -

  • The Bachelor of General Studies is composed of existing MWSU minors or a customized concentration. It is for adult learners with interrupted studies and/or students whose previous major is no longer appropriate.
  • The Bachelor of Science in Technology has a custom major designed for the student's needs. It is for those who have attained an A.A.S. or A.S, have 30 credit hours in applied coursework, and/or, possess credits from military service.

There are also three interdisciplinary minors including Childhood Studies, Cognitive Science, and Entrepreneurship.
