The College of Business & Professional Studies is committed to offering engaging and applied undergraduate and graduate programs to assist students in launching or advancing their career. We are dedicated to equipping our graduates with relevant knowledge in their chosen major, increasing their critical thinking abilities, and teaching skills essential to professional and personal success. The academic units within the College of Business & Professional Studies include the Craig School of Business, Criminal Justice & Legal Studies, Education, Engineering Technology, Military Science, and the Law Enforcement Academy. Non-academic units include the Center for Entrepreneurship, the Center for Franchise Development, and the Center for Workforce Development.

Based on the mission of the university, programs within the College of Business & Professional Studies incorporate applied learning opportunities that transcend the institutional setting through multiple experiences in the classroom and professional practice environments. Opportunities for development are provided through partnerships with practicing professionals, contributions to society through service to diverse populations, and use of technology. Faculty members are experts in their disciplines and apply their knowledge through scholarship, teaching, and service in their professions. Graduates of the College of Business & Professional Studies fill essential leadership positions in business, government, education, legal, nonprofit and service settings.
